Requirements For YVGKA 2024 Flag and 7 on 7 Football
1. Completed Online Registration Form w/Payment
Included in Registration:
- Declaration on Grade Level
- Concussion Acknowledgment Form
- Rules of Play Acknowledgment
2. All players MUST purchase and wear a soft shell helmet that can be purchased online. Speak with Head Coach about appropriate color if required.
3. Style of Football will be broke down as follows:
FLAG FOOTBALL:
- Pre-K/Kindergarten
- 1st/2nd Grade
- 3rd/4th Grade
7 on 7 FOOTBALL:
- 5th/6th Grade
- 7th/8th Grade
Requirements For YVGKA 2023 Tackle Football
1. Completed Online Registration Form w/Payment
2. Copy of Birth Certificate
3. Player Physical Dated in 2023
4. Age Requirements:
YVGKA Tackle Football League Ages as of June 1, 2023:
- A Team - 12,13 & 14-year-old if still in 8th grade.
- B Team - 10 & 11-year-old.
- C Team - 8 & 9 year-old.
- D Team - 6 & 7 year-old.

Yakima Valley Grid Kids
The primary purpose of the Grid Kids Association (GKA) is to provide and promote the opportunity for youth to participate in a structured youth football program. A volunteer Board of Directors administers this program. The GKA operates under it's Revised & Restated Policies and Guidelines.
